You know those sessions where everything just feels like a warm breeze and a daydream? That was exactly the vibe for Selina & Jeff’s Harlinsdale Park engagement session. We leaned fully into the golden hour glow, the swoosh of wind through her hair, and that playful, let’s-run-through-a-field energy that just feels like being in love in the summertime. These two wanted something simple and laid-back nothing overly posed, nothing too curated. Just them being themselves. Laughing, twirling, barefoot in the grass, and wrapped up in each other like the world was standing still. Honestly, it was perfect!

Why Harlinsdale Park Was the Dreamiest Backdrop
Harlinsdale Park always brings this timeless, pastoral beauty. It’s open and peaceful, but still holds so much character. The white farmhouse, the rolling fields, the old barn and silo in the distance it’s like stepping into a slower, softer world. And for Selina & Jeff, it was exactly what we needed. We started their Harlinsdale Park engagement session down by the water, where the light was hitting just right. That glowy, gold-on-skin kind of light. Selina carried this delicate parasol that added the sweetest vintage touch, and they both looked like they stepped out of a movie.

Letting the Wind (and Love) Lead their Session
Can we talk about how underrated wind is in a session?! Because Selina’s wind-whipped hair? ICONIC. It gave the entire shoot this movement and magic that made everything feel alive and romantic in the most effortless way. They danced around barefoot, chased each other through sun-drenched fields, and fell into each other like nobody else existed. And that’s what I love most about documenting love like this – it’s not about the perfect pose, it’s about how it felt!

Sweet Details, Soft Edits, and True Connection: A Harlinsdale Park Engagement Session
I wanted this gallery to feel as light and warm as the evening itself. The color tones stayed soft and creamy, and we mixed in some black-and-whites for those extra tender, timeless moments. There’s a quiet intimacy in the way Jeff looks at Selina the kind that makes you believe in forever, and I wanted that to shine through in every photo. They ended the session sitting on the porch of the white farmhouse, snuggled up as the last of the golden light spilled across the fields. It was calm and quiet, and you could just feel how safe they are with each other. That kind of love is what it’s all about.
