A Beautifully Laidback Grace Valley Farms Wedding for the Sweetest Couple

From the moment I met Macey and Asa at their engagement session, I knew their Grace Valley Farms wedding was going to be something special! These two are the kind of couple who radiate kindness and are just so clearly meant for each other, the kind of people who make everyone around them feel instantly at ease. Their whole wedding day felt like one big exhale: warm, joyful, and completely filled with love from every direction.

It was one of those Tennessee summer days that somehow felt golden from the minute it began. Soft blue and crisp white details were woven throughout every corner of the day, from Macey’s baby blue block heels (with the sweetest bows!) to the hydrangea-filled florals to the classic invitation suite that looked like it came straight out of a southern wedding magazine. And Grace Valley Farms? Absolutely stunning. The perfect backdrop for a day that was both elevated and totally laidback in the best way!

Getting Ready at Grace Valley Farms

The morning started with laughter, slippers, and poppin’ a few cold ones with the girls in matching PJs on the front porch, truly the best kind of chaos. Macey got ready with her closest friends and family, and y’all… when her mom helped her into that sleek, classic gown with the lace back? TEARS. Macey looked unreal, like a timeless Southern bride with a modern twist. And can we talk about the floral-print dresses her girls wore? Not only were they so cute and fun, but they doubled as Macey’s “something blue,” which I thought was such a sweet and subtle detail. Meanwhile, Asa and the guys were out under the trees in their tuxes, looking sharp as ever. The energy between both groups was light, relaxed, and full of anticipation. You could feel how much everyone adored this couple!

A Private First Look Before the Ceremony

Before walking down the aisle, Macey and Asa shared a quiet moment together by the pond, and I swear time stood still for a minute. Their first look was so full of emotion, a mix of happy tears, giddy smiles, and a few deep breaths as they soaked each other in. The fountain in the background, the way Asa looked at her, Macey’s grin when she turned him around, it was all so tender and real. Just them, grounding each other before the big “I do.”

Grace Valley Farms Wedding Party Goals

Can we talk about this wedding party?! Macey’s bridesmaids in dusty blue dresses (each one a slightly different style) and the groomsmen in classic black tuxes created such a polished, dreamy look. The whole crew brought the energy, the love, and a few happy tears too. We got to capture some of the most fun group shots beneath the trees, with sunbeams coming through the leaves and flower girls twirling in their white dresses like little woodland fairies. Also, the moment the wedding party made a tunnel with their arms while Macey and Asa ran through? Core memory!

Romantic Bridal Portraits at Grace Valley Farms

After their first look, we took some time to explore the grounds together and capture portraits of just the two of them, and wow, these might be some of my favorites ever! The light was soft, the fountain was dancing in the background, and Macey and Asa just fit together so naturally. No stiff posing or forced smiles, just real connection, quiet laughs, and that kind of happiness that feels peaceful and steady. Watching them interact during these portraits reminded me why I love what I do… they were fully present, soaking each other in before all the guests arrived. It was beautiful, easy, and so them, exactly how a wedding day should feel!

A Ceremony Surrounded by Nature (and Love)

Their Grace Valley Farms ceremony space felt like something out of a fairytale. Draped fabric over wooden beams, a lush floral arch bursting with blue and white blooms, and sunlight filtering through the trees as they exchanged vows, it was pure romance. The ceremony was heartfelt and personal, with sweet words that had everyone misty-eyed. One especially meaningful touch was a bouquet and framed photo placed on a front-row seat, honoring Asa’s mom, a quiet but beautiful way to include her in such a big moment. You could tell how deeply loved they are by the way everyone watched them, completely wrapped up in the moment.

Reception Magic: Dancing, Dessert, and a Sparkling Send-Off

After golden hour portraits and lots of happy hugs, it was time to party, and Macey and Asa’s reception did not disappoint! Their first dance was under a canopy of twinkle lights, and y’all, the way Asa spun her? Adorable. There was cake cutting, happy tears during toasts, and the kind of dance floor energy that only happens when everyone’s genuinely having the best time. And then, the send-off! Guests lined the walkway blowing bubbles into the night air as the newlyweds made their way through, surrounded by sparkle and smiles! Macey and Asa’s exit felt like the perfect ending to a truly magical day… and the beginning of an even more magical forever!
