Tennessee Wedding at Windsong Farm

Lauren and Sam met while in the same small group at church. While their connection was growing secretly stronger each time they conversed, none of them quite knew it yet. Through this mutual experience, they began forming a bond and have been together ever since. It was like the universe placed them in the right place at the right time. After some time together, Sam finally popped the question during the holidays as they were sightseeing the Christmas lights. Since then, Lauren and Sam have had so much anticipation for their wedding day. When it finally came, their Tennessee Wedding at Windsong Farm couldn’t have been more perfect.

Tennessee Wedding at Windsong Farm

As you could imagine, I was very excited about Lauren and Sam’s wedding day. We started off the day with Lauren getting ready in her bridal suite at Windsong Farm before meeting up with Sam for their first look. Naturally, it was very emotional, and maybe a few tears were shed… who knows 😉

Before the ceremony was when we decided it was the perfect time to take some wedding portraits. Tips to help you be comfortable for your wedding portraits and NOT look like a mannequin are right here! I also have to take a moment to appreciate how in love these two are. I mean it is evident that their love was so strong, they couldn’t keep their hands off each other and their grins were from ear to ear. That is what us wedding photographers love to see on a wedding day – yassss!

Ceremony & Barn Reception

As I mentioned above, Windsong Farm has a beautiful ceremony lawn which is where Lauren and Sam chose to have theirs. Surrounded by their close family and friends, they exchanged vows and made their commitment to one another to embark on this new journey together… marriage.

The reception was held in the restored barn space on the farm. There were beautiful cakes and desserts… oh, and the food was great too. I just have a sweet tooth! The night was spent dancing, laughing our bums off from the guest speeches, and celebrating Lauren and Sam.
